Reichenau Island is the biggest island in the Lake Constance in southern Germany. Initially settled by benedictinian monks in the 8th century, today the island is famous for its vegetable farms and wineries. Die Insel Reichenau ist die größte Insel des süddeutschen Bodensees. Von Benediktinermönchen bereits im 8. Jhdt. besiedelt ist sie heute berühmt für ihre Gemüse- und Weinkultur.
